- Operation of SSP, STP, SCP
- Addressing and routing with the MTP
- Interconnection points to other networks
- ISUP messages and their meaning (f.E. IAM, SAM, ACM u.a.)
- Performance characteristics: Clip no screening, call forwarding, CCBS
- Addressing and routing with the SCCP
- Operating and workflow of the INAP
- Analysis of traces to ISUP and INAP
- Routing of service call numbers (z.B. 0800, 0900)
- Local number portability
